WOW IS HIRING: L8 ARCHIVES – PROJECT ARCHIVIST

Liverpool-based organisation, Writing On The Wall is hiring, and if you're looking for a fulfilling role in cataloging the city's anti-racist history, this could be the perfect role for you. 

Working to bring into public access, two nationally significant collections relating to Liverpool's Black History, the Project Archivist role will see you exploring The L8 Law Centre and Liverpool Anti-Racist Community Art Association. 

These to vital anti-racist organisations were central to the defense and empowerment of Liverpool's communities and Writing On The Wall is recruiting for a thoughtful, and knowledgeable archivist who will help document and share these important histories, both locally and nationally. 

Working with Writing On The Wall, supported by Liverpool Central library and Archive, the archivist will preserve, catalogue, digitise and promote the extensive L8 Archive Collection. The role will also include working alongside the project team and steering committee to ensure best practice and community involvement and to recruit and supervise volunteers who will assist with cataloging and digitising the collection. 

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to full immerse themselves in the city's anti-racist history, local communities and local and national partners.
