Meet our Partners: Tomorrow's Women Wirral

Each month, we will be bringing you a new partner profile, giving you the opportunity meet our team and find out about their involvement in Directions. Say a big hello to Tomorrow’s Women Wirral!

The team at Tomorrow’s Women Wirral

Can you tell us about Tomorrow’s Women Wirral?

Tomorrow’s Women Wirral (TWW) is a local women’s charity supporting adult women 18+ through targeted topical interventions, courses, support sessions and activities to make positive lifestyle changes and invest in a better future for themselves

Why did you become involved in Directions?

Encouraging women to invest in themselves and their futures is important to our mission and so involving ourselves in Directions has enabled us to design and deliver a programme to improve women’s employability skills

Tell us about the activities you’ll be running with Directions

Under Directions we have created a Little Steps Work soft-skills employability programme that is delivered over 6 weeks, supporting women through confidence building, communication & inter-relationship work, digital IT skills and much more to challenge them to upskill and open doors for opportunities in volunteering and even work; all in the belief that they are capable of much more – “it just takes little steps”

Do you have any events coming up?

Unfortunately due to COVID TWW is closed to the general public but we are still delivering virtual support over telephone, and will return The Directions Programme: Little Steps Work in the near future

You can find more information about the Little Steps Work programme here
